Fini Moroder nativity

More than any other artist, Fini Moroder manages to reflect her entire personality in her work. She was born in St. Ulrich in the Grödner Valley, and has long been known as the name for contemporary wood carving. Her preferred choice of material is chestnut wood, which has a particularly effective grain. Her sculptures, their simplicity and expert reduction to the essentials appeal to the modern zeitgeist.
